Cynical Reader

Give me a happily-ever-after fairy-tale and I'll fight you every step of the way, but give me a tragic, grief-ridden story and I'll let it consume me.

Incarnate - Jodi Meadows Everyone seemed to like this book so much that I had high hopes, but it just didn't do it for me. I was able to finish it, but it drug on and on and it took all my willpower just to pick the damn thing up every time. Finally I had to make myself sit down to finish it just so I could move on to something else. I probably won't be reading the rest of this series.

Also I found this version of reincarnation a tad disturbing. Like Ana is new (young, immature) and Sam (her love interest) is pretty fucking old. And how Sam was a woman in some of his past lives and Ana is wearing his dresses. Yes, this bothered me.
