Cynical Reader

Give me a happily-ever-after fairy-tale and I'll fight you every step of the way, but give me a tragic, grief-ridden story and I'll let it consume me.

The Girl in the Steel Corset - Kady Cross I'm ashamed to say I went into this one with low expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. Looking back, I should have guessed I'd love The Girl in the Steel Corset.
What more could a girl ask for? + Finley (what an awesome name, I think if I ever have another daughter - I'll name her that) was no wuss, she could kick ass with the best of them.

I have a feeling it's going to be hard to kick this accent going on in my head. Every book I read directly after Harry Potter, I actually had to force myself not to speak for them in an English accent.
