Give me a happily-ever-after fairy-tale and I'll fight you every step of the way, but give me a tragic, grief-ridden story and I'll let it consume me.
This book just wasn't memorable for me. I didn't fall in love with the characters, and there was nothing that left me even slightly interested in what their future would hold.Now that [b:Siege and Storm|14061955|Siege and Storm (The Grisha, #2)|Leigh Bardugo|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1362166252s/14061955.jpg|19699752] has been released, I've been going between "Maybe it'll be better." and "Do I really want to waste more money on books that I'll only throw across the room?" Thankfully, I came across Emily May's Review and that made up my mind.
I feel like I've dodged a bullet.
