Cynical Reader

Give me a happily-ever-after fairy-tale and I'll fight you every step of the way, but give me a tragic, grief-ridden story and I'll let it consume me.

In Cold Blood - Truman Capote This book was definitely creepy for me. During and after reading In Cold Blood I was constantly worried someone would break into my house, then kill me. I think the creep-factor has more to do with this being a true story than anything else, and that people these days are capable of doing even more heinous things than Dick and Perry did.

(Just fyi: It's obvious (in the book) that [a:Truman Capote|431149|Truman Capote|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1220960599p2/431149.jpg] favored Perry.)
